Skyler Borzoi was established in 1988 by Melissa and Chris Hundley, and represents over 18 years of raising, training, showing, and breeding top-quality Borzoi. Known in America before 1936 as the Russian Wolfhound, the Borzoi is a true aristocrat by virtue of his noble appearance and his heritage. Highly valued by the czars of Russia, they were used for many centuries for hunting. Borzoi are coursing hounds which depend on their keen vision for sighting game at great distances. They are known for their speed and agility in overtaking wolves, hare, fox and coyote.

We pride ourselves in promoting and preserving this noble dog breed. Our foundation bloodlines descend from Khanzade Borzoi: classic linebred Malora bloodlines combined with Ristovia and old Sunbarr. With over 76 champions to their credit, Khanzade is known for producing Borzoi with extream elegance, total soundness, effortless side-gate and glorious colorful coats...
